Day 1: Conversation Day (parts 1 & 2)

This day is split into 2 different days where women will visit each chapter individually over the two-day period. This day is a time to meet all of the chapters on campus and to create connections and relationships with the organizations. We love this day to get to know all of the women enrolled in recruitment and talk about what it means to be a Panhellenic woman!
Attire for this day is cute casual. Including jeans, shorts, t-shirts, tanks, and sandals.

Day 2: Sisterhood Day

On sisterhood day, women are invited to our home and are given a tour of our house and may be given a financial sheet. We take the rest of the time to discuss our sisterhood and what it means to us. Every sister has a different definition of what our sisterhood means to them but we all share a common tie of Alpha Gamma Delta.
Attire for this day is casual dress. Including sundresses, nice shorts, flats or sandals.

Day 3: Philanthropy Day

On philanthropy day we take this time to discuss our philanthropy, Fighting Hunger, why we continue to support it and what it means to us. We enjoy educating others about the growing food insecurity problem in the United States and Canada and how we combat it. This day may be accompanied by a small craft and meaningful conversations about helping the community and others in need.
Attire is semi-casual. Including sundress, skirt, pants, nice top, heels, wedges, or nice sandals.

Day 4: Preference Night

Preference night is special to us because we get to show what it really means to be an Alpha Gam and why it is so special to us. With a special ceremony that's often emotional, sisters and women going through recruitment share meaningful stories of friendship and sisterhood. After this night, women may narrow their choices to one or two chapters, which can be difficult sometimes. Alpha Gam shows every woman the utmost respect and to establish that no matter where they may end up, they will always have a friend at Alpha Gamma Delta.
Attire for this night is formal. Including nice dresses, skirts, slacks, nice top, and comfy heels.

Day 5: Bid Day!

This day is filled with fun and celebration as we welcome the incoming pledge class with big open arms. This day is celebrated starting with the bid card opening and running to your new family! New members are immediately greeted by a sister known as their "Alpha Buddy", a sister that is that new member's instant friend to help get her established and feel comfortable. New members also receive a bid day shirt as their first official Alpha Gam letters and as a way to remember this special day. Activities include bid day photos, dancing, dressing up, and silly faces! We usually have a slip and slide as our first bonding experience with our new members!
Attire for this day is fun and casual! Including shorts, sandals and bid day shirts!
